Charged with firearms theft

A 29-YEAR-OLD Newry man has appeared in court to face a total of eight burglary offences, alleged to have been committed over the course of a week across Tyrone. John Joseph Myles Connors of Ganna Way is accused of breaking into houses in Omagh, Cookstown and Strabane between 12 and 20 April this year. In one of the burglaries Connors is alleged to have stolen firearms. Five charges involve theft and three of intended theft. A police officer said she could connect Connors to all charges.
