A STRABANE shooting victim has rubbished a Republican Action Against Drugs (RAAD) claim that his partner did not witness his vicious assault.
In a statement to the Strabane Chronicle  RAAD admitted shooting the 26-year-old man at his Carlton Drive home on Tuesday night. Contrary to police reports however, the dissident organisation denied that the man’s partner and child were in the house at the time.
But speaking from his hospital bed, the victim said that “100 per cent” his girlfriend had witnessed the attack while their young daughter slept in a back bedroom.
