Vintage singing great Tommy Sands will be appearing at the Alley Theatre in Strabane on Saturday night (April 14).

Even after 50-odd years in music, Tommy Sands admits he still writes everyday. “There’s so much to write about,” he says without irony.

“With this new tour Tommy says his music moves from traditional Irish to contemporary folk and the lyrics… well, the lyrics speak for themselves.

“You know, it’s been a long time since I performed in Strabane – some years at least,” he added.
