Clady car dealer refutes ‘clocking’ claims

A CLADY used car dealer has this week defended himself and his business against an attack from BBC’s The Nolan Show.

Frank Wray who runs Village Cars Ireland Ltd is claiming unfair journalism after Stephen Nolan accused him of selling ‘clocked cars’ (vehicles which have had their miles wound back).

Mr Wray, who was the focus of secret filming from the BBC, has outlined his fears for the business’s survival, following “unbelievably bad publicity”.

Claiming his innocence and counter-claiming that Nolan and his producers did not tell the full story, Frank Wray pointed to his 15 incident-free years in the motor-trade.
