Former teachers, staff and pupils gather to say goodbye to St Mary’s Girls

FORMER teachers and pupils took a walk down memory lane at St Mary’s Girls Primary School on Friday ahead of the upcoming merger with neighbouring St Mary’s Boys.
From September, the schools will become one with pupils continuing to be educated between the current two campuses.
With the schools set to close a week early to accommodate the merger, former staff and pupils reunited on Friday to say farewell to the school that has served Strabane since 1972.
