The Strabane schoolgirl with the world at her feet

STRABANE schoolgirl Emma Casey is on top of the world after dancing her way to victory on the biggest stage of all. A student of the McConomy School of Irish Dance, Emma (11) recently lifted the World Championship title in Belfast, beating competitors from America, Australia and Canada.
It is the first time in more than four decades that the title has come home to Strabane and is just the latest in a string of titles for Cloughcor schoolgirl Emma. Also under her belt at present are the Ulster, British National, Great Britain and All Scotland crowns.
