Pay and display plans branded ‘a disgrace’

MOVING one of Strabane’s last free car parks to pay and display has been branded “a disgrace”.
Meters were installed at Upper Main Street on Monday ahead of the start of pay and display today (Tuesday).
Announcing the plans earlier this year, Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy pointed out that more than 350 free car parking spaces remain at Bowling Green, Canal Basin (Dock Street), Mill Street and Canal Basin (North) car parks.
