Tyrone GAA star Lafferty resigns for Dergview

STAR attacker Johnny Lafferty has resigned for Championship One outfit Dergview.

Lafferty had quit the Castlederg club at the start of the year after being called into Mickey Harte’s Tyrone Senior GAA panel.

The Red Hands’ earlier than expected exit from the All Ireland series, after Ulster Championship defeat to Donegal and a heavy loss at the hands of Kerry has allowed Lafferty to return to the Dergview panel ahead of the new season which kicks off in a little over two weeks’ time.

Lafferty’s decision to put pen to paper comes in a week that the Dergview management team of Tommy Canning and sidekick Adrian Forbes significantly strengthened their panel with the signing of Tyrone Milk Cup players Tom Carlin and Cathal McShane and the resigning of established forward Warner Mullen.
