Tyrone head west for tricky backdoor assignment

Big game hunters Roscommon are eyeing another prize scalp from the north this Saturday when Tyrone put their reputation and All-Ireland ambitions on the line at Dr Hyde Park.

The Rossies sent the Red Hands arch-rivals Armagh packing in the first round of the Qualifiers a fortnight ago and will harbour similar objectives when Micky Harte brings his wounded troops to town this weekend.

The bruising two point reversal to Donegal in the Ulster semi-final last time out was naturally disappointing but aside from a crucial fifteen minute spell in the second half, Tyrone were more than a match for the teak-tough, attritional Tir Chonail men.
