Paralympic flame to visit Strabane



Some of the school children who turned out to welcome the Olympic flame. The community is being urged to do the same when the Paralympic flames visits.

WEEKS after hundreds of people turned out to welcome the Olympic flame, Strabane’s public is being encouraged to support the Paralympic flame.

The Paralympics kick off on Wednesday August 29 and run until September 9.
Ahead of the official opening ceremony though, the flame is set roll into Strabane on August 25.
To mark the occasion a whole fun day of events have been organised right across the town.
