‘Tensions raised’ in Plumbridge after grafitti daubed on Orange Hall
A LOCAL DUP councillor has accused those behind sectarian graffiti and an arson attack in Plumbridge of upping tensions in the area.
The graffiti was daubed on the village’s Orange Hall ahead of a band parade on Saturday. At around 4.25am vandals also set fire to a port-a-loo on Plumbridge’s Main Street.
Strabane DUP councillor Allan Bresland said the incidents had created a bad feeling in the normally quiet area.
“It’s not something you expect to happen about Plumbridge and it left a bad feeling on both sides of the community because no one wants this sort of thing.”
