STRABANE distance runner Dessie McShane is preparing for one of the biggest challenges of his life – two marathons in six days. On April 16 the 46-year-old will be Stateside for the Boston Marathon before flying back for the London Marathon on April 22. STRABANE Rugby Club will be full of confidence for this Saturday’s Gordon West Cup final at Ravenhill after lifting the Qualifying League 4 title. It is fourteen years since Strabane made it to Ravenhill, narrowly losing out in the final of the first ever Gordon West competition to Lurgan.
