Cathal McShane grabbed the headlines earlier this year with his exploits on the field for Tyrone Minors during their run to the All-Ireland Final.

And the young Owen Roes star created another milestone on Monday in the plush surroundings of the Merchant Hotel, Belfast, when he was named on the 2013-4 Danske Bank Ulster Colleges Football All Star team.

He became the first Holy Cross, Strabane student to scoop such a prestigious accolade after impressing in a series of trial games.
