Police appeal over stolen bike

POLICE in Strabane are hoping to reunite a devastated schoolboy with his bike after it was stolen from outside a local shop.

Writing on their Facebook page, the PSNI said the bike was stolen yesterday (Sunday).

“We are appealing for information about a stolen bike in Lisnafin,” they said.

“The stolen bike has two foot pegs on the rear wheels. It was stolen from outside a shop in Lisnafin and we would appeal for any information about the whereabouts of the bike or if anyone seen it being taken.

“Any information can be given by ringing 101 and quoting CCS 814 5/3/17. A devastated nine-year-old boy would like to get his bike back!”
