The fight featured on a card packed with legends of the MMA world. The top end of the card formed part of a pay-per-view event and Gallagher’s featherweight showdown with Brazilian was the penultimate fight for the high profile bout between former UFC stars Phil Davis and Ryan Bader.

Gallagher’s latest victory has catapulted his MMA career onto a whole new level as the young Strabane man’s stock continues to rise at a phenomenal rate.
