Police are appealing for information following a suspected arson attack on a car which was parked in the Inisfree Gardens area of Strabane.

Constable Karen McGuinness said: “It was reported that at around 12.10am on Friday, June  30, a silver Renault Scenic car was set alight in the Inisfree Gardens area of Strabane. The car was completely destroyed as a result.

“I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Strabane Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 20 of the 30/06/17. Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
