Spooktacular events for all the family this Halloween

The Spark drummers are set to light up Strabane tonight.

Strabane has a wealth of spooktacular events today to keep your little witches and wizards amused this Halloween.

The Esmeralda ‘Trick N Treat Trail’ departs at 11am, 11.45am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.15pm, 3pm, 3.45pm from the Alley Theatre and makes its way through the town. The trail costs £2 per person.


For the film buffs, Monster Movie Monster Island will be shown at the Alley Theatre at 11am and 1pm and costs £2.

Also at the Alley, we’ve got Britain’s Got Talent, star Ryan Tracey at 12.30 and 3.30pm. Admission to the event is free.

Over at Gray’s Printing Press you will be able to hear amazing Bewitching Tales from 12.30-3.30pm. Admission is free and from 11.30am to 4.30pm Strabane town centre will come alive (or undead) with Scary Street Performers.

Over in Abercorn Square from 1-5pm, there will be an abundance of free arts and crafts workshops, face painting as well as birds of prey and reptiles on display and at 3pm, Encore will put on a Halloween showcase at the Alley Theatre. Admission to this event is free.

And the night will go off with a bang with the Spooktacular fireworks, music and street performers at Upper Main Street Car Park from 7pm to 8.30pm
