Urney win derby to send Sigersons down

Johnny Lafferty netted twice against Sigersons

Strabane……0-15
Urney…3-12

URNEY kept alive their own survival prospects while condemning their local neighbours Strabane to the drop in the process with a vibrant and eye-catching six point triumph in enemy territory yesterday afternoon.

Two goals from Johnny Lafferty (one a penalty) and a fisted major from Christopher Bogle proved to be the critical scores as the St Columba’s comfortably saw-off a listless and disappointing Sigersons challenge.

Warner Mullen again top scored for the hosts with four points while Marc Devine weighed in with a hat-trick.
