Will it be ‘No likey, no lighty’ for local MLA?

OFF TO FERNANDOS? Daniel McCrossan has been invited onto Take Me Out.

A STRABANE politician is giving Prince Harry a run for his money in the ‘most eligible red headed bachelor category’, after he was asked to appear on the UK’s biggest dating show.
SDLP MLA Daniel McCrossan said he thought someone was “taking the hand” after he was contacted by ITV asking him if he would like appear on the hit TV show Take Me Out.
“All week I kept getting missed calls from a unknown number,” Mr McCrossan explained. “Then I received a message on social media from a woman who said she was involved in Take Me Out and she wanted to know if I would be interested in taking part. For a laugh I checked it out and it’s totally legit.
“She gave me a call back later during the week and I asked her why me? She said she was aware who I was,” laughed Mr McCrossan. “Myself and my friends are having some laugh about it, but I am taking it all with a pinch of salt to be honest.”
Although neither confirming nor denying will he take the plunge, Mr McCrossan did admit he is still in talks with the show. He added if he was to take his party’s advice, he would be appearing.
“For a laugh I put the message into our party’s MLA chat group. Everyone was encouraging me to go for it but I don’t know, I am easily embarrassed when it comes to things like that.”
When asked if he is currently looking for love, Mr McCrossan said that indeed was something he couldn’t comment on. However time will tell if it’s going to be, ‘No likey, no lighty’ for Daniel.
