United raced into a 3-0 interval lead through goals by Gerard Elliott and McGrath (2) and sealed a good afternoon’s work with second half goals by Barry Porter and Tori McConnell.

Elliott opened his side’s account, after good approach play by McGrath and Hegarty before McGrath doubled the advantage with a fine individual effort.

The attacking midfielder added a third with a thunderous drive to leave the outcome all but done and dusted at the interval.

This wouldn’t have been the case had Rovers taken a number of chances with Niall McCaffrey and Michael McMenamin both going close.

In the second half Glebe killed off the Rovers challenge with McGrath again influential in the build up to Porter grabbing the fourth before McConnell scampered through to complete the nap hand with a rasping shot.

GLEBE United’s position in the Division Two table looks considerably healthier after a convincing victory over Maguiresbridge.

GLEBE United recorded their third win of the season by finishing with a flourish at Bellspark Road.

GLEBE United felt aggrieved they had a potential match-winning goal ruled out at he Lakeland Forum on Saturday.
