41-year-old charged with murder of Strabane man’s wife

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Serious Crime Branch have charged a 41-year-old man with the murder of Lu Na McKinney in Fermanagh earlier this year.

Ms McKinney was the wife of Strabane man Stephen McKinney and the couple were holidaying in Fermanagh in with their two children when her death occured in April.


The male has also been charged with Possession of a Class C controlled drug. He will appear in Omagh Magistrate’s Court tomorrow morning (Tuesday, December 5).

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
