Top two success for Holy Cross pair

Blathnaid Doherty and Brooklyn Edwards excelled in the Comfort Gut League Challenge

TWO members of Holy Cross College’s successful equestrian team earned further accolades at the weekend by claiming the top two podium places in two classes at the Comfort Gut League Challenge, which took place over six weeks at the Causeway Coast Arena, Coleraine

Following a string of outstanding performances over a month and a half, Blathnaid Doherty emerged the overall league winner in both the 90cm and 1 metre classes, while Brooklyn Edwards was runner-up in both.

The two girls and their Holy Cross College colleagues have a busy few weeks ahead with team competitions in Carryduff, Lurgan, Omagh and Coleraine, which will bring the inter-schools year to an end.
