Question Time coming to the Alley in November

ONE of the nation’s most popular political debate programmes, Question Time, is coming to Strabane later this year.

Broadcasting from the Alley Theatre on Thursday November 1, locals are now being afforded the opportunity to be part of the audience and perhaps even ask a question.

Running since 1979, Question Time is a topical debate programme based on the radio show, Any Questions.

Typically, the show features politicians from at least three political parties as well as other public figures who answer pre-selected questions put to them by members of the audience.

However, fans of the show’s longest-serving host, David Dimbleby will perhaps remain disappointed, after the presenter recently announced he would be stepping down from the show after 25 years.

Fellow BBC presenter, Jeremy Vine has since been touted as his replacement, as have a number of others.
Question Time comes to the Alley Theatre in Strabane on November 1.

To attend the show, people have to register on bbc.co.uk/questiontime or by calling 0330 123 9988.
