Boyd Rankin who has been named in England’s Ashes squad

BOYD Rankin has been named in the England squad for the forthcoming tour to Australia.
The former Bready player is joined in the Test squad for the first time by Yorkshire batsman Gary Ballance and all-rounder Ben Stokes.
Rankin, 29, a former Irish international recently played for England in the one-day international against Ireland in Dublin.
The Warwickshire pace bowler was considered to have an outside chance of making the Ashes squad after impressing in a number of one-day internationals.
The Ashes tour begins in late November.
