THE turn out at the polls in Strabane is standing at around 37 per-cent as voting enters its final four hours.
According to the electoral office voting across the North has been steady all day.
Locally things started off slowly this morning but things have picked up, according to the 5pm figures.
At Barrack Street the turn out stood at 38 per-cent an hour ago while at the Derry Road just over 36 per-cent of eligible voters had turned out.
It was a similar picture at Melmount where the turn out was averaging just above the 36 per-cent mark at 5pm.
A surge is expected as people return from work but with poor weather forecast there are concerns it could impact the final turn out count.
