Love Island to hit the big screen

LOCAL fans will be all loved up next week when the final instalment of the popular reality show, ‘Love Island’ hits the big screen at Lifford cinema.
The final of the hit show, which has taken the nation by storm, will be aired on the cinema screen on Monday night with fans of the show flocking together to see which adoring couple will walk away with the £50,000 prize.
According to general manager of Lifford Cinema (and certified ‘Love Island’ fan) Louise Doherty, the cinema is expecting a huge crowd in attendance.
“’Love Island’ has many fans locally and we have already had numerous calls from people interested  in attending the special screening,” she said. “We feel it will be well attended and will prove to be an excellent occasion for fans of the show.
“The idea came about when one individual said how much they would love to watch ‘Love Island’ on the big screen. As a cinema we are always keen to give the community what it wants. We often screen GAA games and classic films, and we are always interested in thinking outside the box.”
As a committed fan, Louise is hoping that heartthrobs Dani Dyers and Jack Fincham will be crowned the winners.
“Overall, I am hoping the show isn’t completely sold out as I would like to watch it myself,” she laughed. “I am hoping Jack and Dani will be the winners but of course it is anyone’s game.
“Love island has kept people in the local area entertained and here’s hoping this will be a fitting finale.”
The screening will take place on Monday, July 30 at 9pm, with tickets available free of charge at 10am that day. Tickets are limited to four per person and only available from the cinema.
