McCay Solicitors grows Strabane team & opens Omagh base

McCay Solicitors have hired Castlederg native Charlene McNabb (pictured) to spearhead its Property & Probate Department. Charlene had previously worked with firms in Omagh, Strabane and County Down and joins the 9 strong team at McCays.

“We have expanded geographically with our Omagh office and we are delighted that Charlene has joined us. I spoke to a number of estate agents and mortgage advisors and Charlene was highly recommended as a property solicitor, so it is a real coup that we have secured her, she has already proven to be a fantastic asset over the past 2 months. The team we now have in place is second to none.”

McCays opened its new headquarters at John Wesley Street in February last year just as COVID 19 struck however the firm has excelled over the past 12 months as its Managing Director Gareth McCay explains;

“We had only opened the new office a few weeks when we had to close both offices which have remained closed to the public. We have always invested in the latest technology so having our team work from home was quite easy for us as staff had laptops, used a paperless cloud based system for our files and used videoconferencing. It has been inspiring to see the resilience and innovation of our local businesses over the past 12 months and I wish everyone who is getting ready to re-open the very best of luck.”
