Arson attack in Sion Mills

A SION Mills man who awoke on Monday morning to find his car on fire says he knows who’s to blame, although he admits proving the allegations could prove more difficult.
Gordon Lucas (59) was alerted to the blaze by a neighbour who spotted flames streaming from the smashed window of a white Vauxhall Astra.

Judge quashes A5 road development

A High Court judge has officially “quashed” the decision to go proceed with a new £330 million A5 dual carriageway scheme.
Mr Justice Stephens has however put his order on hold for one week.
He granted the Department for Regional Development this time to lodge an appeal to his A5 ruling.
